The University of Maryland School of Public Health Dean's Grand Rounds are a series of programs delivered by leaders from a variety of disciplines and settings in public health.  These include researchers, practitioners, educators, and policy makers. This one captures three exceptional programs on Health Equity by Dr. Lisa Simpson, President of AcademyHealth, Vernice Miller-Travis, and a panel of speakers including Leana S. Wen, MD, MSc, commissioner, Baltimore City Health Department; Maura Dwyer, DrPH, senior health policy advisor, Health Enterprise Zone Initiative, Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; Ernest Carter, MD, Deputy Health Officer, Prince George's County Health Department; and, Courtney Ferrell Aklin PhD, Chief of Staff, National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities
